Problem solved (after hours) .
There are 2 overlapping poly layers.
* poly Level TOP
* poly Level Register6/SR3
the calculated layer (clk1SD) creates 2 polygons at different levels.
therefore the extraction of MOS3 does not work.

Hi Matthias,
clk1Gate.strict
helps, the shapes are merged.
But my initial problem is why are the calculated layers are placed to different levels.
I use the hierarchical mode:
deep...clk1Gate = active.overlapping(metalClk1) # select alle activ…
At the moment, the problem occurs again.
My steps:
* delete some shapes which are to be replaced by a cell
* place cell
* make cell variant
* descending to cell
* delete /move some shapes
* ascending
* message appears
V0.29.2
Even when I am in T…
Here the setup.
CLK2.oas is a helper layout with a cell NET_CLK2.
All other cells are in the main layout, which is being edited
Descend, edit and ascend I do for example in the cell Register0.
This is where the problem comes in.

Yes, I have 2 layouts into one view.
Is that a problem?
This error happens quite often.
But the program will not crash in this case.
I can save and continue.
So it's not a big problem.
Thanks for pointing out the use of DRC.
But when I debug my CustomExtractor, it would be good to find the faulty device. My idea was also that the extractor normalizes the shapes around 0,0.
